Background

The world is becoming more connected. High speed wired and wireless networks, powerful mobile devices and computers are all making the world smaller. Opportunities abound. Oto Technologies was formed to take advantage of these opportunities by creating a world-class technology research and development team comprised of technology innovators and leaders in distributed computing systems.

Near the end of 2008, Oto Technologies was conceived of by a group of technologists with significant experience and a long history with peer-to-peer networking, digital imaging, and audio/video digital media. The founders, having worked together previously, were successful in their efforts to launch and fund the operation in January 2009.
